Credit Reports

important credit report information

When it comes to your credit reports, its a good idea to know what each of them look like. Its generally a good idea to check them at least once every 12 months, and even more regularly than that if you are trying to improve your credit. If you haven’t checked your credit reports in the last 12 months, then you can request your credit reports from any or all of the 3 major credit reporting agencies. These agencies are named as Equifax, Experian, and Transunion.

The FCRA (Fair Credit Reporting Act) allows consumers to request a free copy of their credit report annually (12 months)from Equifax, Experian, and Transunion.
